The veterinary
staff of the ARCM organize and deliver routine clinical
care and emergency care for the research animals at
Harvard Medical School. The veterinarians oversee the
animal facilities, investicagor research activity, advise
researchers and animal care personnel on medical and
surgical procedures and treatments especially anesthesia
and analgesia.
